From Adoption Information

Basics

To edit an Adoption Information page, simply click on the "edit" tab on the page. This will bring up the edit window where you can make any modifications or compose a new article with that name. All Adoption Information users can freely make modifications to or add new articles to the site. Please limit your topics to family-related themes such as parenting, adoption, pregnancy, foster, etc. Please keep in mind that Adoption Information is a family site. You are invited to keep it family safe.

To create a new page, simply create a link to it from any given page and the wiki system will create a blank page that can be edited when clicked on.

When making changes you may use the preview function to see how the article will look before making changes.

Adoption Information content is a community collaboration of ideas and therefore you need not sign or credit for content. The talk pages are an exception and your signature should accompany your comments.

Wiki Markup

When creating wiki pages you type wiki markup to create the text and layout of the page. Wiki markup is simple to use. Below is a list of the wiki markup used to do basic formatting.

Linking

[[article name#section name]] - Internal link to a section of a page
